Sport-specific strength training programs, powered by LifeFitness

Functional strength training is essential for improving techniques and performance in all activities. Using dual cable pulleys and other fitness accessories, you will learn to increase muscular strength and improve your body’s biomechanics for performing specific sport strengthening programs. Choose from the following:

 

TENNIS:
Improve your performance on the court! This specially designed strength program combines agility, balance and power, and is geared to improving your tennis skills.

GOLFING:
A training program designed to strengthen the muscles specifically needed for creating and controlling your golf swing.

SURFING:
A strength program that promotes the balance and coordination required to ride the waves.

BIKING:
This strengthening program is designed to create consistent, powerful pedal strokes and to improve balance.

RUNNING:
Focuses your resistance program on exercises that enhance muscular strength and endurance required for running longer distances.

SKIING:
Regardless of your skill level, this strength conditioning program can help you ski

Program Details

  • One-hour training sessions taught by Fitness Coaches
  • Conducted in Cross Training Center utilizing dual cable equipment/free weight equipment
  • Must be at least 15 years old; parent/guardian consent
  • Must have at least three months experience using strength-training machine weights
