Welcome the Mission Valley YMCA Summer Camp guide online! See "Your Online Guide to Summer Camp" box at right for links to our new summer camp section, as

well as links to important documents that will help make

the planning process go smoothly.

Important Note

Since the printing of our 2008 Camp Guide, we have experienced increased costs for our camp programs. In order to make sure that these changes do not impact the quality of camp we will be able to provide for this upcoming
summer, we will be charging a minor service charge of $2.75 for each week of camp sold. It is our sincere hope that this does not cause you too great of an inconvenience and we look forward to serving you this summer.

Thank you for your patience and continued support.

This year, our commitment to safety and quality has remained staunch as we continue to be American Camp Association accredited. This symbol of achievement represents our adherence to high quality standards and an assurance of our commitment to the safety of your child.

Remember, though we have two locations, it is still one
great program and you can drop off at whichever location you like simply by using our included shuttle service.

Camp directors Ella Tringale at Mission Valley and Mat Russell at Toby Wells, as well as the whole YMCA staff are truly looking forward to serving you and your child. Whether your child is a first-time camper or a veteran, we thank you for choosing the Mission Valley YMCA and Toby Wells YMCA, where we are committed to our mission to provide children with a wonderful, memorable summer where they grow in spirit, mind and body.

We look forward to seeing you and your child soon!

The purpose of this camp is to provide children with autism a day camp experience that will allow them to feel comfortable in a safe, fun and nurturing environment. It is offered to children with autism between the ages of 6-12, 9-14 and one teen week at Toby Wells for ages 13-17. Participating families must live and/or work in San Diego County.
