    Mission Valley YMCA Volunteers

You can help out anywhere. But you belong at the Mission Valley YMCA. As a Mission Valley YMCA volunteer, your time and talent go a long way. You can:

  • Lead a program
  • Coach a sports team
  • Serve as a role model for young people
  • Help out in the office or at a special event
  • Raise money
  • Be part of a group or committee working on a neighborhood problem

The YMCA is the largest nonprofit community service organization in America. It works to nurture children, support families, and make all communities healthy, safe places to live.

To solve problems closest to home — or better yet, to prevent them before they begin — the YMCA needs more people like you.

The Board of Management

There are more than 2,000 YMCAs in the United States. All of them are directed by volunteer boards. The Mission Valley YMCA Board of Management includes some 55 members of the community who believe in providing the best YMCA for those that don't have the ability to pay for programs.
