Your membership includes full use of four facilities: the Mission Valley YMCA on Friars Road, the Hazard Center YMCA, Toby Wells YMCA and Downtown YMCA.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates for YMCA membership and programs are available for purchase at any time. No value limits. Gift certificates are transferable if necessary. No refunds.

Program Enrollment

Registration for programs may be done at Friars Road, Hazard Center and Toby Wells facilities. To avoid late fees and to
provide safe student/teacher ratios, advance registration is recommended for all programs. Space is limited. The fee must be paid in full prior to the start of class.

YMCA Membership Plus

Join One; Join 'Em All!

When you join the Mission Valley YMCA, you have access to four facilities: Mission Valley (Friars Road), the Hazard Center YMCA, Toby Wells YMCA and Downtown YMCA.

But if that's not enough for you, you can join them all through the Membership Plus! program. Maybe you live in one area of the county and work in another, or just like a bit of a variety in your Y's.

Fees & Joining Information

Your Mission Valley YMCA membership includes full access to four great facilities: Mission Valley YMCA (Friars Road); The Hazard Center YMCA, Toby Wells YMCA and Downtown YMCA.

Membership Fees:

We offer several different types of membership.

Current membership rates

Our Joiners Fee is used to provide major repairs and equipment replacement. This fee is payable when you join, in addition to your first month's dues. There is no no Joiner's Fee for student, youth or teen memberships.

Memberships that have expired or been canceled for more than 30 days are subject to repayment of the Joiner's Fee to renew membership. Joiner's Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Bank Draft Membership. Upon joining, payment of the first month's dues is required. With your authorization, an automatic monthly withdrawal will begin the following month of membership from either your checking or credit card account. This is an ongoing deduction that remains in effect until canceled in writing at least 15 days prior to your draft date. Payment of fees must be kept current, or membership will be subject to cancellation.

Please notify us immediately if you change banks or credit cards to avoid additional fees and repayment of the Joiner's Fee in order to reactivate your membership. Membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Annual payments are available for all memberships if you are unable to join on the Bank Draft plan. Fees are equivalent to 12 monthly payments on the Bank Draft system. Renewal of annual membership must be completed within 30 days of the expiration date or will be subject to repayment of the Joiner's Fee. Membership fees are non-transferable.

Non-members (participants) may purchase a pass to use the facility for the day. See below for member guest policy.

Membership Fees

Guest Policy

Introduce your friends and family to the YMCA! As a YMCA member you may bring guests to the Y under the following guidelines:

Passes: Members now have access to unlimited guest passes, so feel free to invite your friends and family to visit the Y. Your guests may visit a maximum of two times on a pass.
Guests visiting without a pass will pay $6 per visit, and must be accompanied by a member.
Guests must sign in and sign a waiver at Member Service Desk
Guest must present photo ID

All guests must follow Mission Valley YMCA policies and procedures.

A.W.A.Y. Policy

As a member of the Mission Valley YMCA, you are part of the A.W.A.Y. (Always Welcome at YMCA) program. To find a Y in another area, go to www.ymca.net and do a "find your YMCA" search. Please call the A.W.A.Y. YMCA to confirm its visitor policy before you go.

Mission Valley YMCA will verify an A.W.A.Y. visitor's membership and then issue a temporary card that is valid for up to two weeks.
