AMT Techniques

Learn how to get the most of your workout on the AMT (Adaptive Motion Trainer) with our free instructional classes, scheduled all through December at Mission Valley. See options on the AMT page

Synchronized Swimming

LEARN TO SWIM IN SYNC at Mission Valley in synchronized swimming classes that meet at 9:40 on Tuesdays and Fridays. Offered at no charge to members, the classes are a great way to get some exercise, meet friendly people and have a lot of fun.

Coach Kari-Lorraine Scott says, "No previous synchronized swim experience is necessary! If you're comfortable in the water and can swim a little, you can do this class!" Newcomers are welcome!

The best time to give it a try is the first Friday of the month, when we also have a dry land practice first from 8:50 a.m. to 9:20 a.m., in the Activity Room. Contact Kari-Lorraine for more information: or 619-298-3576, ext. 14003.

Hiking Club

The hiking club meets monthly for a local hike with leader Karen. Upcoming hikes: December 6 at El Capitan. These events are free, and we meet at the trail head. Details

Finding it tough to start and stick to a regular exercise routine? Enroll in our F.I.T. 4 Me program and receive one-on-one support to help you get back into the exercise habit. This program is designed to help you make lifestyle changes through the combination of a structured exercise program and personal coaching. Choose from an 8-week, 10-week or 12-week program. Details
