About the Park
With new rails, jump boxes, gaps, quarter pipes, and skate lite, our
park is a blast to skate and bike! Here at the park we strive to provide a fun
and positive environment for children and adults to come and enjoy their need
for extreme sports.
We have numerous professional athletes practicing
almost on a daily basis, but this park is open and available for people of all ages and skills to enjoy.
We operate the only supervised
skate park in the city of San Diego!

Skate Camp
Skate Camp is the most fun you’ll ever have. Staff at the Skate Park teach all the children in groups by their skill levels, giving them the best instruction from experienced skateboarders.
There are winter camp, spring camp and summer camp sessions available.

Every Saturday at 12:00 p.m., a staff member teaches various clinics. Available every week unless there is a special event. A clinic calendar is posted at the park.
Complimentary Members Group Lessons

Your child will be taught how to perfect existing abilities and learn new cutting edge tricks and skills either in a group setting or one-on-one with a personal skate coach. Private instruction is by appointment only. Contact the skate park at (619) 279-9254.
Birthday Parties
We book birthday parties on a first come, first served basis.
FEE: $150 for up to 10 riders; $10 for every rider over that (i.e.: 12 riders = $170.)
Parties are available Saturday mornings, 8:45 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. Security deposit: $50. It’s safe, fun and you get the park to yourselves!

Events
For the past four years, Mission Valley YMCA has
teamed with the Grind for Life Foundation to bring you “Clash at Clairemont” - the skate and BMX event of the year at Krause Family Skate & Bike Park! Thanks to a number of generous sponsors and pro skater Andy Macdonald, this event features some of extreme sports’ biggest names, including Tony Hawk, Bucky Lasek, Andy Macdonald, and many more.
We hope to see you at Krause Family Skate & Bike Park for the 5th Annual Clash, date TBA. See images from this year's event.
All proceeds benefit the Mission Valley YMCA and the Grind for Life Foundation.

An adult over 18 CANNOT sign for you if that person is not you legal guardian. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS!
