Gymnastics

Mission Valley YMCA offers a full youth gymnastics program at our Toby Wells YMCA, located at 5105 Overland Avenue in Kearny Mesa. The 11,000-square-foot facility is top-notch, and classes are held at all levels, from preschool Gymventures to competitive team.

In addition, you'll find adult gymnastics, cheer and tumbling, dance, karate, birthday parties and Parent's Night Out events. For more information, call (858) 496-9622.

Registration Information

• Priority registration for the upcoming session is reserved for participants enrolled in the current session. Priority registration is highly recommended in order to maintain a participant’s place in a class and ensure continued progress. Open registration is for all participants, returning or new:
  
  Priority Registration for Monthly Sessions:
  Between the first and 15th of the month prior
  
  Open Registration for Monthly Sessions:
  Between the 16th and 31st of the month prior
  
• We ask all participants to register prior to the session start date in order to ensure proper staff/participant ratios
• All gymnastics classes are offered on a monthly basis at the Toby Wells YMCA ONLY

Make Up Classes:

As a courtesy to our participants, we choose to offer make-up classes to children when they are unable to attend the class for which they are registered. However, make-ups are NOT guaranteed and are restricted by the following:

• Make-ups are only available pending space in level-appropriate classes to ensure that coach-to-gymnast ratios are being kept
• All make-up classes must be scheduled with the program’s coordinator in advance. Last-minute make-ups will not be allowed
• Make-ups from the previous session will not be honored. Scheduled make-up classes are final and may not be changed. Rescheduling a make-up class is not allowed.
• Child must be enrolled in the current session in order to participate in make-up classes
