Preschool (3-5 yrs)

Pikes: Ages 3 - 5 years

This class is for children who are non-swimmers. Students learn progressive independent swimming with the assistance of an instructor. They are taught to blow bubbles, face dips, and coordinated arm and leg motions. See links to sessions below.

Prerequisite: Age appropriate
Ratio: 1:5

Eels: Ages 3 - 5 years

This class is for children who are non-swimmers but are comfortable in the water. They are learning to float, paddle, and kick with support on front and back. See links to sessions below.

Prerequisite: Pike
Ratio: 1:5

Rays: Ages 3 - 5 years

This is an intermediate-level class that focuses on independent swimming. Rays should be able to put their faces in the water and swim 5 feet on their front unassisted. See links to sessions below.

Prerequisite: Eel
Ratio: 1:6

Starfish: Ages 3 - 5 years

This class is for the most advanced Pre-School swimmers. The class is held in the deep water. Children must be able to tread water for 1-minute, swim the front crawl, and backstroke 10 feet. Registration for this class is by invitation only. See links to sessions below.

Prerequisite: Ray
Ratio: 1:6
