SUMMER camp 2014

You have hundreds of choices for summer fun for your children ages ages 5 to 17. New this year: Paddle Sports, Survivor and Dino-Roar camps. Also: Camp Marston resident camp in Julian will be July 27!

Camp I Can

For more than 10 summers, the Mission Valley YMCA has partnered with the San Diego Autism Society to offer Camp I Can. This low-ratio camp provides children with autism a day camp experience that will allow them to
feel comfortable in a safe, fun and nurturing environment. Please see the Camp I Can page for details.

    An introduction to all things equestrian for campers who are 6 years old. Meet and work with Skittles the Mini Horse. See Specialty week 6!
  • BUILD IT - Schedule Change
    Build It camp has moved to weeks 5 & 9 (Jul 14 & Aug 11). Previously scheduled for Weeks 1 & 6.

    RADICAL REPTILES - Canceled
    Radical Reptiles camp is canceled for weeks 6 and 10. If you have registered, you will be contacted by Rachel Jacobs, rjacobs@ymca.org.
  • Congratulations to Cameron Welch! Cameron was the lucky winner of our Priority Registration drawing, which means she gets a week of camp on us! Her favorite thing about camp? "The field trips!" Have fun at Challenger Camp, Cameron!

Your donations allow us to send children to camp — children who would not otherwise be able to have the experience.

  • Just $25 pays for a child's swim lessons at camp
  • A gift of $40 covers a camper's gymnastics lessons at camp
