Summer Day Camp


Mission Valley YMCA has been offering outstanding summer camps for over 30 years. We believe that each child is a unique individual with his/her own rate of development. Our goal is to introduce children to as many new experiences as possible and help each child feel confident and secure in a fun, safe camp environment. YMCA Day Camps challenge children to grow in imagination, creativity, self directed initiative, and leadership.

We are dedicated to changing the lives of our campers by creating friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. All of our YMCA Day Camps have been accredited by the American Camp Association. Our day camps exceed the highest standards in camping services including health, safety, personnel, transportation and facilities.   • New! We were able to add a new session of Archery Camp, Week 10 at Toby Wells (August 19). Details
  • Photography Camp Week 4 will be based at Mission Valley

  • NASA Camp Week 6 will be moved to Toby Wells
  • Cooking Camp Week 8 to Mission Valley

Canceled Camps

  • Roosevelt, Weeks 1-11: Camps scheduled to be based at Roosevelt Middle School have canceled, although most will be offered instead at either Mission Valley or Toby Wells.

How to Register


  1. Online: If you are a member of have ever participated in a Y program, you may register online by either "adding to cart" from the camp description page or go directly to the online registration area to choose your camps.

  2. By Fax or Email
    Register using the registration form in the camp guide or print one from this registration form page. Fax both sides to the Mission Valley YMCA. (Please call to verifyfax has been received 619-298-3576).

  1. Walk-In Registration
    You may register for summer camp at the Mission Valley or Toby Wells YMCA Welcome Center desks anytime during regular operating hours.

Send a child to camp

Your donations allow us to send children to camp — children who would not otherwise be able to have the experience.

  • Just $25 pays for a child's swim lessons at camp
  • A gift of $40 covers a camper's gymnastics lessons at camp
